བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם السلام عليكم

I was born the product of an artist and an architect. From a very young age I was fingerpainting and creating geometric designs using crayons and a straight edge. In school I excelled at Mechanical Drawing by not coloring outside the lines. Later on I learned it was ok to color outside the lines.

I studied Philosophy and Aesthetics at George Washington University and then apprenticed with a Washington D.C. artist named George de Vincent, who had himself been an apprentice of Diego Rivera -- the Mexican Muralist. For a time I managed George's art and photography studio in Georgetown.

For years I did my art in my spare time, while working as a bouncer in a punk rock nightclub or for an Internet Access company or in the Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Today I'm a full-time artist working in acrylic on canvas, ceramic mosaics, cut glass and mirror, leaded and stained glass, tensegrity structures and soldered and welded kinetic sculptures. Lately most of my work has had a spiritual nature, with a Sacred Geometry theme.
